Bring on Summer!

Not only are the kids done with the year, but so am I!  We're all ready for the slow pace, no schedules, and just hanging out.  Of course it's the craziest time of the year with all of the end of the year stuff, but it's just time to be done.  All 3 boys have been going full force in soccer, and they just wrapped up their last games last weekend, so finally our weekends are FREE!  For a little while at least.  They're all playing in the summer though, so hoping for at lest a few week hiatus.  I'm such a bad mom and didn't take any pics until the last game!  And I didn't get any of Ben because his was at the same time as one of the other boys, so I'll have to get some good ones of him this summer.

Since the boys are so into soccer now, we went to the FC Dallas game.  We've never been to one but they're so much fun!  We loved it and will be back!

The boys have been begging for a soccer goal, so we finally got them one.  I told them to wait until daddy got home to put it together, but they insisted they could do it by themselves..uhm ok...go ahead. Didn't think they could do it, but thought it was a good way to keep them entertained for a while.  An hour later they came in and wanted me to come see...'.
TaDa!...They were so proud of themselves, and so was I!  Looks like my days of putting things together are over!...woohoo!!!

Gage's spring program was on Thursday.  He's such a little ham!  Cracking jokes and giggling the whole time.  Guess being the youngest of 3 boys, you have to be the class clown to get any attention at all! Will be interesting to see him in kinder next year!

Reed's field day was Friday, so I went up to watch for a little while.  Of course having fun with his possey. Never a dull moment.

I got this playhouse for Molly at a garage sale, but I think the boys like it as much as she does! Go figure.

We had our annual girl's weekend a couple of weekends ago and had a blast as always!  I swear my cheeks hurt from laughing anytime we're together!  We don't get to see each other often because we all live in different cities, but when we do get together, it's like we haven't skipped a beat.  Love these girls!!

We've spent a little time out at the lake in between games, but are so excited to spend A LOT of time there now!  Looking forward to making lots of memories there this summer:)

My good friend and neighbor, Jen Newberry, and her husband, Eric, are leaving for China today!!!  They're going to get their precious daughter, Ella Joy!  They haven't even left, but we are all beside ourselves for them to get back with her!  Molly's ready for her neighborhood playmate and we're all ready to kiss on those sweet cheeks!! :)  You can follow them here.  Please pray for them and for Ella during this transition and also that the consulate situation is figured out and that there are no hold ups.  We want them back ASAP!
