Ice Cream Parlor Party!

Molly's 2nd birthday, and 1st party home with us, was so much fun to plan and celebrate!  It was probably the messiest party we've had or will ever have, but the kids loved it and of course my little sweet tooth loved it, which made it all worth it.  I'm still finding sticky spots on the floor from the spilled ice cream and snow cones!
I put the boys to work, and they took their jobs seriously! :)  I have to admit, the snow cone stand  sounded good at the beginning, but was not the best idea I've ever had:).....MESSSY!!!
Reed worked the snow cones.

And Ben was the official ice cream scooper!

Yes, it does say Molly's Z...but it was only after I stamped all of the "Molly's" that I realized I don't have # stamps!  Z was the closest thing I had to 2!

A highschooler made this cake...amazing and tasted great!  Yep!, I'll be using her from now on!

The girls had fun digging through the costume trunk

It was so cute when she realized that everybody was singing Happy Birthday to HER!  She got the biggest smile on her face:) Make a wish, big girl!

Gage lived at the snow cone stand!  At one point, he was begging Reed to fill a huge plastic cup full of snow cone!  Don't know how he wasn't sick!!

Glad I got to sugar the kids up and then send them home!  I'm sure the parents were thrilled with me...haha!

The Ripple

I have great news!!  Two of my good friends have started the process of adopting from China!!  Two more orphans will have a forever family in less than a year!  Both are friends that have had adoption on their hearts for years, and finally felt it was the right time to take that leap of faith. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for these awesome families.  It still amazes me how God continues to use children who have been adopted,  to bring home more of His children. I was inspired by Jennifer and her sweet Wesleigh, you can read that story here, and I know she was inspired by other other families.  These children have no idea the lives that they are changing every day! One child affects a few and then those children each affect a few more, etc, etc....the ripple.     I believe with all my heart that people are put in your life for a reason.  I've been amazed at how His plan has unfolded and I can't wait to watch how it unfolds once these sweet kids are home.  One of the families has started a blog you can see here

In other good news, Molly's ice cream parlor birthday was a hit....a MESSY hit, but it was a hit:)  I don't think my floors will ever be the same, but all worth it to see the smile on her face the whole time.  My friends took pics since I never got my camera fixed...slacker...but I'll post as soon as I get them.

Since I can't have a post with NO pics, I'll put this one up of my biggest and littlest...it just makes me happy:)

Our baby girl is 2!!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, lovable, kind, smart, and sometimes sassy little girl! :) You have brought more joy to our family than you will ever know.  I thank God every day for choosing me to be your mommy.  We all love and adore you so much.  You have every boy in this house wrapped around your little finger (and yes, daddy is included....Especially daddy!). I have never seen somebody light up a room the way that you do.  You wave and say hi to everybody you see and you never fail to get a smile from anyone and everyone we pass.  If there is one thing I have learned about you is that you are a go- getter and I know, without a doubt, that you will do and be anything that you want.  You have completed our family in a way that I hope you come to understand one day.  We love you to the moon and back and can not wait to watch you grow and achieve all your dreams.

Waiting on you...

...while you celebrate your 1 year birthday with your friends at the orphanage

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
