Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!

Molly celebrated her first mardi gras with gumbo and king cake!   And she loved both!  Keep it comin!

Nana, Pa and Luke have been visitng for their Mardi Gras holiday!  So sad to see them leave tomorrow. I love this group!

Molly has really bonded with all of them and even prefers them over us sometimes!  Love seeing her get so much love from her extended family!

Nana caught these pics of Gage reading Brown Bear to Molly.  He read it at least 10 times and she loved every second of it!

and reading by herself..

It was in the upper 60's today, sunny, and gorgeouss!!  We had 8 boys playing football after school and Molly cheering from the sidelines:)

I saved the good news for last....we went to the craniofacial surgeon for Molly's consult to set up her cleft palate repair and to our complete surprise, he said it had been repaired!:!  Say what??!!  I know it sounds crazy that we didn't know, but she would pitch a fit when we tried to look, so we never really looked too hard.  We would just sneak a peek when she would laugh or cry and we didn't see much, just assumed it was small, but it's not there anymore.....Thank you God!!  What a blessing!   We'll go back to see him in a year and we will have a nose revision down the road, but no surgery anytime soon!!!

That is awesome news about no surgery until nose revision. Trust me I believe you when you said you didn't know it was repaired..My girl went through a stage of not letting anyone look in her mouth. I guess she 'was just over everyone looking' in her mouth. That IS such awesome news. GOD is GOOD all THE time!!!!
