JET LAG - 4 vs. COCO'S - 0!!

Jet lag is viscous and it's kicking our butts!!  We all 3 wake up at 12 am and we're wide awake, tossing and turning until 4am...every morning!!  I thought it would get better each night but it's not!  You know it's bad when Jon and I are fighting over the last ambien!  Jon snuck in the kitchen and got the last one last night, so I got to hear him snore for the four hours that Molly cried and I rocked, held and we tossed and turned.  We feel like we've been run over by a mack truck everyday.  We've been waking up around noon...which makes it very difficult to get the boys to school to say the least.  Jon was the lucky one this am since he slept a little more than me.  Guess it'll be a coin toss for tom:)  I tried keeping Molly up today so she maybe sleep all night tonight, and this is what happened...

and look who's sacked out behind the coffee table!  It's going to be a LONG night for me!

Not only are we walking around like zombies from the jetlag, baby girl has croup!  2 nights ago she was having trouble breathing and sounded like a barking seal, so we took her in first thing yesterday, and yep...she had to get a steroid shot and is on steroids now.  It's making her a little, ok A LOT fussy, so I'm hoping to get through this week so we can all feel like normal again next week!

And because I'm on a roll, I'll throw another one in there...Nana, Pa and Luke left us this am...boo!  We all miss them SO much!!  I think Molly was wondering where that fun group of people went:)

I'll end on a positive not:)  The boys  love her so much and rush home from school to cover her with kisses and play with her.  Gage is coming around and is secretly having fun showing her how to play with her "baby" toys:)

As out of sync as we feel right now, my heart is so full with my family finally together.  I know things will get better.  Sleep does wonders, so please pray that  we can kick this crazy jet lag!

Oh Man! Jet lag is evil. On the trip TO China it's not sooo bad, I think running on adrenaline helps on that part of the trip, but on the way back you're jet lagged and tired.
It won't last much longer. I pray that your bodies will all get back in tune with USA time and soon!

Oh girl, I remember that awful jetlag all too well and it's exactly what you said, it's like a mack truck ran right over you!!! I am definitely praying it gets better for you guys, it took us a good 10 days to finally be back to normal! Praying it's sooner for ya'll!! Hang in there because this too shall pass!! Sorry Molly has croup too, poor baby girl! Can't wait to meet that precious thing!

It took me 2 weeks to get back to normal after my trip to China. That jet lag is a killer.

Love the pictures. Hope everyone is feeling better soon. Blessings

Oh it WILL get better. Someone told me that it takes one day for each time zone you go through...so 14 days? or so...and that was about right for us. There is just no getting around it...but each day it gets better. BY about three weeks home we were all on a good schedule again. Molly (and your boys!) are so cute...and it is wonderful to see you all home together!

Oh girl!!! This post is making me hurt...just remembering! I think since Jon got a good night's sleep last night...he's on tonight!! Call the doc and get some more of that miracle medicine!!! He should call you in a few to help you get through it. If you could get 1 good night's sleep it would do wonders.

I hope baby girl gets better soon! That definitely makes it so much harder :( I love the pics and love that Gage is enjoying playing with her!

BTW...the sleeping picture is SO funny!!! Praying it gets better soon!!!
