Molly's Room!

I finished!!!....well, almost!  I still have a mattress to switch out to make the beds the same height, and more crystals  to hang on the chandelier, but you get the picture!:)  I'm so in love with her furniture!  I got it at an estate sale and was told that it's an antique from Europe.  The only thing I had to do is have the fabric recovered.  The details in the furniture are amazing! The room was painted by my good friend,  Lisa, and she created the old, whimsical feel that I was looking for.  I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out!

She'll be in a crib in a connecting office/room adjoining our room for a while so that she's close by.  If we do move her to her room before she's ready for a big girl bed, we'll just temporarily take out a bed and replace it with a crib.

My camera has been acting crazy, and some of the pics are a little blurry...BAD timing!  Must get fixed before we leave!

Here it is....

I want to get a little Chinese dress when I'm in China to frame and hang above the dresser..

It's hard to tell in this picture, but it says DREAM ....another garage sale find:)

This picture was made by the mom of one of my best friends in the world! She has Molly's name on there and 2 cute little poems on there.  I love it!  Thanks Pam!!

Now all it needs is a little girl! :)

My sweet friend, Jennifer basaeballtobows.blogspot.com, sent Molly this soft and adorable blanket!  I love it and it WILL be going to China with us.  Thanks Jen!!!

Melissa had a little Christmas parade last weekend, and the kids had a really good time!

I have to brag on Ben for a minute!  He made it to the next spelling bee competition, which will be against the 4th, 5th and 6th grade winners!  Only 8 kids made it from each grade, so I couldn't be more proud of him!  If he wins in this next round, he'll be competing in McKinney against kids from all over!  Woohoo...GO BEN!!
